zaff shabirThis is a snippet / preview of the cover image shot for Texture Labb, issue 2 of collectable fashion quarterly "Labb". I shot 2 spreads that were run in the first issue and the guys came back to me and asked me to shoot the cover for this issue. Having worked with the team previously, I was happy to shoot it and got to work with Zaff for the first time. Most of the Labb team were there in one guise or another.

The clothing for the supporting spread was provided by Oops. The internal spread features a number of their capes / ponchos / gowns and the shoot itself is a fun and tongue in cheek look at the fashion genre. The monochrome nature of the pieces and bold, boisterous linings give the spread a theatrical feel and I'm really looking forwad to seeing it in print. The current issue "Fashion Labb" is available to buy now through www.newsstand.co.uk. Texture Labb is available in May 2010.
