A bit of corporate work for a change. MCS are a major industrial and have previously used a traditional heavy industry design style. My brief was to take them away from this and produce a new look and feel that let images do much of the talking with text in support, rather than the other way round.

This is potentially one of a series covering a group of companies and is likely to involve some special finishing / bespoke packaging as a presentation tool. I've introduced plenty of white space, some high quality photography and contemporary typography to lift the design present a contemporary face for the company. The aim was to lift them without alienating core audience so the design has been executed with plenty of restraint.

Covers feature matt laminate, reticulated spot finishing and some UV. Printed on FSC approved Era Silk.

So i recently pitched for a rebrand of a medium / large B1 print operation, this is the end reult of my labour. They're environmentally friendly and wanted a visual approach to marketing collateral. I'm very happy with the overall result, which will rely on Flash routines and some clever copy work & typography for a bit of extra oompf.

I also came across this yesterday, which is extremely useful to the type led designer..

So somehow, we've managed to make it through our first decade. By way of celebration, I decided to do something quite self indulgent.. A collectors series of movie poster style letter heads and business cards, which will be individually numbered and limited to 100 each.

The theme is thriller / horror and takes a grungy, macabre slant on the genre. All of the images have been made up of photoshop composites and use the same background for continuity, the first 3 in the series can be viewed large by click the corresponding images.

The print will be a combination of litho and continuous digital, we expect to complete the series (run out of stock) in side of 3 months .

Following on from the advertising campaign I've just designed for the new season clothing, we were commissioned to produce some branding collateral to highligh the new range.

the model shots were white walled and cut out & placed on urban backgrounds in keeping with the usual punkyfish attitude.
